Michael Ethell
Michael has been around boat racing in one form or another since birth as he comes from a family who has always been heavily involved in all forms of the sport for the better part of three decades. In 2008 Michael stepped into his first Offshore race on Sydney Harbour as a navigator for Slick Offshore and since 2010, has been racing alongside his father.
Gryff Ethell
Gryff has been heavily involved in all forms of Hi Performance boat racing, starting off in the early 80’s initially as a ski racer before competing across QLD, VIC and NSW as an owner/driver claiming numerous national titles. He has assisted Paul Jorgenson, Greg King, Graham Ogilvie and Kaye Marshall in claiming their titles for the Australian Formula 1 Championship. In ‘89 and ’92, Gryff was given the opportunity to assist Team Mercury in the 24hr Rouen race in France. Gryff has been involved with Offshore Racing since 2006 with numerous teams and in 2010, Team Eighty Eight Racing was formed and Gryff has been on the throttles beside his son ever since.
