SUV SIMRAD (SIMRAD for short.) They will also be continuing their long association with BRP/ Evinrude this year with the installation of the highest tech and lowest emission outboards on the planet, the new Evinrude 300hp G2s'. The new SIMRAD navigation systems and brand new 300hp G2 Evinrudes' combine absolutely flawlessly.

SUV SIMRAD are excited to have ‘Fusion' still supplying the Country Music, ‘Buff it up Detailing' keeping the vessel looking tip top, and ‘Look Sharp Boatworks' looking after the structure of the boat. The Southport Yacht Club located on the Gold Coast, will continue to be their QLD base of Operations.

Con who sat beside his father for the last couple of years has decided to concentrate on his career outside of racing so this year, the team is proud to have last years awarded ‘Rookie of the year' Taelah as its new pilot. Taelah is the only female to currently compete in the Offshore Series and with her family background and previous racing history you can guarantee, she will be one to look out for.

SUV SIMRAD are also very humbled to be supporting the charities ‘Soldier on' and the ‘Veterans Centre' this year, both whom give back to our service men and women who have so proudly and selflessly served our great Country.

Taelah Saloumidis

Taelah is the only female competitor in the Offshore series. She has previously sat in the drivers seat of SUV Ram Trucks Jnr and has been awarded 'Rookie of the year.' Taelah owns her own boat detailing company on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and has been involved in the marine industry for years.


Conn Saloumidis

Conn has been supporting Offshore Racing for many years and in 2012, entered his own boat into the Offshore series. Conn has sat alongside his son Con Jr for a couple of years and for the last couple of seasons and the 2019 season will be sitting alongside his daughter.
