Navico Australia and the APBA (Australian Power Boat Association) Offshore Council are pleased to announce a multi-year partnership between Simrad and the Offshore Superboat Championships (OSC).
Under the partnership, Simrad will be exclusive supplier of Marine VHF Radio equipment to the OSC for race day communications between Race Control, Race Boats and Rescue Boats. Commencing at Wyndham Harbour in Victoria on 27 & 28 March 2021, the Offshore Superboat Championships will be conducted over 5 rounds in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
President of the OSC, Antony DeFina, commented “Simrad’s world renowned Marine VHF Radio equipment will add a further layer of professionalism to the OSC’s race management and strengthen the all-important communications between race boats, safety boats and race control.
